Join the IMPEDE Trial

The IMPEDE Trial is comparing how two eating patterns affect quality of life for people with diverticulitis, as well as how markers in blood and stool related to inflammation change.

You may be eligible to participate in the IMPEDE Trial if you:

• have had an episode of diverticulitis in the past 18 months;

• are willing to adjust your diet for one year;

• are willing to fill out surveys about your experience; and

• can return for two scheduled visits in Seattle over the course of your participation.
